Whether you’re new to volunteering or have years under your belt, the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park is looking for new and interested volunteers for a wide variety of opportunities!
Our Volunteer Open House will take place from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, August 13th, in our Education Center located in the lower zoo parking lot.
Guests are welcome to come and learn about the different volunteer opportunities that are available including gardening, maintenance, special events, and animal ambassador programs. Whether you can volunteer for a couple hours a month, or multiple times a week, we have programs that will fit into your schedule.
Volunteer representatives and our volunteer coordinator, Catherine Dietz, will be at the stations to answer any questions you might have concerning training requirements, availability, and specific program information.
Volunteering is one of the most important things you can do to connect and directly help your community, so come out to the Binghamton Zoo’s Volunteer Open House and learn all about our opportunities! Volunteering even a small portion of your time would mean directly helping the fifth-oldest zoo in America and helping spread our education and conservation messages to everyone in our local community.
For more information on the Binghamton Zoo’s Volunteer Open House, please contact Catherine Dietz at firstname.lastname@example.org or 607-724-5461 x235.
